KEYSTONE’S VISION:
Guests

So the servants brought in everyone they could find, good and bad alike, and the banquet hall was filled with guests.

- Matthew 22:10

As we seek to “lead everyone to experience a passionate life in Christ,” pray that all guests who come to Keystone are welcomed and comfortable in order to strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ. Pray they are encouraged by God and given peace of the Holy Spirit. Let Keystone welcome each guest and help them to connect with others.

Peace and Urgency

By John Bain

Today I received a heart-breaking text from my mom letting me know that a childhood friend of the family had tragically died as a result of pneumonia caused by contraction of the H1N1 virus. She was only twenty-seven years old and had a nine-month old little boy. Her and my younger brother went to school together, and I remember her as an incredibly vibrant and compassionate young girl.

The death of someone so young with such unexplainable circumstances causes a person to stop and think about our own mortality. There is one certainty about our life here on earth; that is death. We are all dying and only God knows when our time here on earth is over. Coming to this realization places both a sense of peace and a sense of urgency on my soul.

My sense of peace comes from knowing that death on earth is not my end destination but only a stop in my journey that will last an eternity. I thank God that He sent Jesus to save sinners like me from death. Christ came so that me, you and every human can live for eternity and feast at the table of our Mighty Creator. He died so that everyone who ever was, is, and will be would not have to be separated by God due to our sin.

The sense of urgency is fueled by the thought that someone that I know or even that I don’t know could die suddenly and not have accepted Christ as their Savior. Time is of the essence, and we shouldn’t let a day go by without sharing the story of Jesus.  If you have a relationship with Jesus and have invited him into your heart as your savior, then my challenge to you would be to tell someone today about what God has done for you and how they can experience a new life in Christ.

Additionally, if you are reading this and don’t know Jesus as your Savior, ask yourself the question: “What is stopping you right here and right now from accepting Jesus in your heart as your personal Savior?” You can find a relationship with Jesus and the promise of eternal life right now. Romans 10:9 says, “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord”, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” It is that easy. Don’t let another minute go by without knowing that death on this earth doesn’t have to be the end of the story but merely a chapter in a book that will never end.

KEYSTONE’S VISION:
Church Plants

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given complete authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

- Matthew 28:18-19

As we seek to “lead everyone to experience a passionate life in Christ,” pray that Keystone could support church plants in other areas. Pray for God to lead these churches and bless the pastors. Pray for growth and expanded influence in their cities.

KEYSTONE’S VISION:
Extending our boundaries
Who will we reach?
How will we reach them?

Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.

- 1 Chronicles 4:10

As we seek to “lead everyone to experience a passionate life in Christ,” pray that Keystone’s location and expansion would reach more people so Christ can change their lives. Pray God would extend our boundaries, bless us and enlarge our territory. Pray for creative ways to reach the people of our community.

KEYSTONE’S VISION:
Land/Location

My ambition has always been to preach the Good News where the name of Christ has never been heard, rather than where a church has already been started by someone else. I have been following the plan spoken of in the Scriptures, where it says, “Those who have never been told about him will see, and those who have never heard of him will understand.

- Romans 15: 20-21

As we seek to “lead everyone to experience a passionate life in Christ,” pray that Keystone’s future location would fit our needs. Pray for guidance on where we should be to reach people for Christ. Pray for favor with landowners and building owners. Let our staff be guided in this decision.

PRAYER POINTS

  • Land
  • Location

Prayer Walk & Communion Gathering This Sunday Night

communion-blog1

November 1st at 6:00pm

During our LAUNCH journey, we believe it is vital for us to spend time daily in prayer.  We also believe it is important for us to come together as church and experience communion and prayer together.

Communion Gatherings are a time to gather to celebrate what God has been doing in the life of Keystone Church. Join us for a night full of inspiring praise and worship through music, prayer, and communion. Loving childcare is available for ages 5 and under. Optional childcare is available for ages 6-12.

At this upcoming Communion Gathering we will do a prayer walk. What is a prayer walk?  Prayer walking is simply praying in the places we want God to move and bring blessings.  There will be focused prayer for every person who comes to our church, the future that God has in store for us and for God to bless Keystone.

To register for BAPTISM, email Eric at eric@keystonechurch.com or call the church office at 817-431-8800.

Let them be examples of Christ in their schools. Pray for guidance in their teaching ability and give them patience with each child. Pray for the schools in our community. Pray for safe places that are filled with Christ followers to share His love with others.
