The 4th Service is coming BACK at a NEW TIME

ms4yp-blog

It’s an exciting time at Keystone Church as we are experiencing more people than ever join us each weekend! We can all feel the incredible momentum and we’re anticipating that our auditorium will run out of seats during our Sunday services. During the fall, we will have hundreds of new people walk through our doors at Keystone, and we want to make sure that they have every opportunity to experience a passionate life in Christ. Our heart is to never turn away anyone at Keystone just because we’re short on seats. Our solution is for all of us to commit to make more space for the PEEPS!

HOW WILL WE MAKE MORE SPACE?

  1. BRING BACK the 4th Service at 12:30 - We are BRINGING BACK the 12:45 service but at a new time at 12:30 on Sunday afternoon to provide MO SEATS 4 YO PEEPS!
  2. ADJUST Service Times - We are updating our current service times on Sunday to give everyone more options to come and experience the passion of Keystone Church.
  3. BEGINNING SOON - The new service and updated service times will begin August 21st and 22nd.
  4. EXPANDED SPACE - The new Rev Room and Tiny Camper’s spaces are finished and will be opened on August 8th.

HOW CAN YOU GET IN ON THIS?

If you are a member of the Keystone Family, we ask you and your family to make sacrifices so that we can continue to reach the everyone! We are a church that wants to give up so that others can go up. Here is what you can do:

  1. Attend the Saturday 6:00 p.m., Sunday 9:15 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. service.  We anticipate 11:00 a.m. being our most popular service for our guests.  It is all about the PEEPS, and we need YO SEATS!
  2. Serve the PEEPS at the new 12:30 p.m. service time. Each service is made possible because of the faithful volunteers that make it happen. We need your help in the 12:30 p.m. service. We need our church family and leaders to consider committing to “up your serve” so that we can LAUNCH the 12:30 p.m. service. With our new Rev Room and FUNATICS program, there are outstanding options for your kids that are present for two services making it easier to serve it up. Check out the details HERE
  3. Invite the PEEPS. Pick up some promo cards at the Information center and use them to invite your family, friends or just anyone you come into contact with. A simple invitation could change their life forever!

These are exciting days at Keystone Church as we strive to create more and more opportunity to lead everyone to experience a passionate life in Christ!  Do your part and help us provide MO SEATS 4 YO PEEPS!

CHEW ON IT - FACELIFT - PART 4

COUNTENANCE KILLER #3: BITTERNESS

Genesis 31
1 Now Jacob heard the words of Laban’s sons, saying, “Jacob has taken away all that was our father’s, and from what was our father’s he has acquired all this wealth.” 2 And Jacob saw the countenance of Laban, and indeed it was not favorable toward him as before. -NKJV

Are you MEDITATING on a WOUND?

Hebrews 12
14 Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord. 15 Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.

YOU’RE NUMB

YOU’RE ANGRY

Ephesians 4
26 And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 for anger gives a foothold to the devil.

YOU FANTASIZE ABOUT JUSTICE

Deuteronomy 32
35 I will take revenge; I will pay them back.
36 “Indeed, the Lord will give justice to his people

You don’t FORFEIT JUSTICE, you GUARANTEE IT!

YOUR RELATIONSHIPS ARE SUFFERING

Hebrews 12
15…Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.

Romans12
17 Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. 18 Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.

19 Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say,
“I will take revenge;
I will pay them back,”
says the Lord.
20 Instead,
“If your enemies are hungry, feed them.
If they are thirsty, give them something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap
burning coals of shame on their heads.”
21 Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.

Ephesians 4
2 Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. 3 Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.

26 And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 for anger gives a foothold to the devil.

1 Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. 32 Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

STOP wishing for a better past

Once you set your prisoner free…You’ll realize that the prisoner was you

Romans 6
16 Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living.

CHEW ON IT - FACELIFT - Part 3

Ecclesiastes 8
1…A man’s wisdom makes his face shine,
and the hardness of his face is changed.

FEAR is a COUNTENANCE KILLER

Daniel 5
1 Many years later King Belshazzar gave a great feast for 1,000 of his nobles, and he drank wine with them. 2 While Belshazzar was drinking the wine, he gave orders to bring in the gold and silver cups that his predecessor, Nebuchadnezzar, had taken from the Temple in Jerusalem. He wanted to drink from them with his nobles, his wives, and his concubines. 3 So they brought these gold cups taken from the Temple, the house of God in Jerusalem, and the king and his nobles, his wives, and his concubines drank from them. 4 While they drank from them they praised their idols made of gold, silver, bronze, iron, wood, and stone.
5 Suddenly, they saw the fingers of a human hand writing on the plaster wall of the king’s palace, near the lampstand. The king himself saw the hand as it wrote, 6 and his face turned pale with fright. His knees knocked together in fear and his legs gave way beneath him.

2 Timothy 1
7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

Behind every FEAR there is an UNHEALTHY emotional connection to something OTHER than God

The FEAR of MAN

Proverbs 29
25 The fear of man lays a snare,
but whoever trusts in the LORD is safe. -ESV

Isaiah 51
7 “Listen to me, you who know right from wrong you who cherish my law in your hearts. Do not be afraid of people’s scorn, nor fear their insults.

God does not want you to live AFRAID of others

Matthew 10
28 “Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul.

Hebrews 13
6 So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?”

When Jesus is BIG, our fears are not

BIG GOD = BIG COURAGE
SMALL GOD = SMALL COURAGE

Proverbs 1
33 But all who listen to me will live in peace, untroubled by fear of harm

Psalm 34
4 I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears.

1 John 4
18 Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear.

Psalm 56
3 But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.

Replace your SINFUL FEAR with a HOLY FEAR

Hebrews 4
15 This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. 16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

Psalm 111
10 Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom.
All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom.

Psalm 112
1 Praise the Lord!
How joyful are those who fear the Lord
and delight in obeying his commands.

Proverbs 14
26 Those who fear the Lord are secure

Ezekiel 34
25 “I will make a covenant of peace with my people and drive away the dangerous animals from the land. Then they will be able to camp safely in the wildest places and sleep in the woods without fear.

Micah 4
4 Everyone will live in peace and prosperity, enjoying their own grapevines and fig trees, for there will be nothing to fear. The Lord of Heaven’s Armies has made this promise!

2 Timothy 1
7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
